Most of Victoria is green, especially all the mountainous areas. There are some great snow resorts too. Much of east coast is also green and further north there are huge rainforests too.

Mount Dandenong and Dandenong Rangers was the main filming location. I find the location particular fun as a grew up there so know it well and seeing the falls in the film and knowing less than a mile (20 min easy hike) from a car park.
