How do they feel compared to the Elite CSLs you used previously? I’m thinking of doing similar, but on a more modest budget; I’m eyeing *Moza SRP* (Lites), which have identical spring forces and pedal action on the throttle and clutch. That’s not ideal for simracing, but I don’t mind as I wouldn’t prioritize having a clutch with a more lifelike threshold action. It will work out better as a hybrid Rudder pedal set. It will save space as I wouldn’t need to have both aircraft rudders and racing pedals. The SRPs aren’t the best, but anything comparable to the Thrustmaster TLCMs is good enough for me at the moment. I’m actually considering using Joystick Gremlin, rather than UCR, as I’m familiar with that for HOTAS use. I’m also aiming to use the clutch and throttle as separate inputs for toe brakes, using a modifier. And perhaps even differential thrust, by combining the axis of my X52 Pro throttle with either the clutch or throttle, to create virtual axes for the left and right jet engine. Pressing the clutch would decrease the output of the left engine, pressing the throttle would do the same for the right engine.

They feel better to me, as I’ve been a fan of force sensitive devices for a long time. But it’s just a matter of personal preference, the CSL has been doing its job without any problems.

What Program do you use to calibrate it and how do you set it up in dcs?

I use Simgrade’s official calibration tool, which is linked in their website. And those 2 axis are combined with vjoy and UCR. In DCS, the vjoy combined axis should be selected for a rudder input.

Not sure aboot unlinked rudder pedals on a choper. Deserve some metal linkage … Put 2 lever acting as foot pedal . Linked to a T metal piece, the feet of the T sits between the 2 pressure pedals that act as l/r sensor and self centering mecanism. I I V V P P TTTTTTTTT O T press T press

Nice drawing. What you’re talking about is more like a conventional rudder pedals construction that has pressure sensors instead of a POT/hall sensor. Actually that type was one of my plans but cancelled because there was far easier way to have same functionality. My setup only requires 2 pedal units out of the box and a few softwares, that’s it.

Yes… it’s because for helo I even removed the self centering spring from my old TH rudder to have more sensitivity. Flying with independent left/right pedal feels/seems weird to me… would perfectly understand for a plane though but for an helo… Just weird man…

I understand your frustration, but believe me, it works flawlessly. If it doesn’t I wouldn’t upload this video 🤓
