The point you made about how a very stiff brake makes your body robotic, tense and sensitive to injuries is a very good one. In my 10 years of sim racing I went from rock solid brakes and driving 10nm+ of force in my wheel base to a progressive feeling brake with a lot less max. force and just 4 to 5 nm peak force from my base. This has made me a lót more consistent, especially in 1 hour + stints. Just ordered these pedals, can't wait to try them!

They appear to be easy to manufacture, offer all the necessary adjustments, and probably a very long lifespan. With their price, this is very impressive product indeed.

Love my Simgrade VX pedals! Got them when they first got released and it brought back the joy of sim racing for me. Had HE Sprints before and really did not like the way the elastomers feel. Was so tight and unatural. The spring feel in the VX pedals is so smooth, perfect. I can hit the same brake point each time. Highly highly suggest these over anything else in the price bracket.

Heusinkveld pedals are old news now unfortunately, Niels did a great job when the sim market was starting to gain momentum but now there's so many options beyond the initial concept he achieved. Now i'm stuck in what ones i would get, was looking at the P1000 but now these came in at a similar price. I wish i could try each to see, cosmetically has an impact on me as well, P1000 look amazing but when do you stare at them when in use. Hall sensor versus load cell. I finally saved enough to get simagic mini after 2 years, so pedals need some serious consideration when it is a 1 purchase limitation.

No you dont, but I can check later how many I added. I think almost all. I wanted to have the second stage at about 80% and have to push through for 100 when needed.
@chepilevski Жыл бұрын
Hey buddy,the second stage is when you hit the end of the movement of the system! After hit the end you can still apply force and input without movement which is the second stage! I personally hit the bottom at around 85% game input so I know I’m consistent with that percentage which works perfectly in iRacing and if I need to hit 100% at some places I press harder on the pedal without actual movement! The spacers just limit the sprig compression and change how quickly you will reach that second (hard) stage! Hope my explanation makes sense 🤛

Which would you choose between the VX-Pros and P1000's? The use of a spring in the VX-Pro brake is very attractive to me, especially based on you and Dan Suzuki's review of the elastomers in the P1000's (and all pedals that use elastomers, probably). With that said, having a haptic brake with the P1000's would be an incredible experience, I am sure. VX-Pro, three pedal set: $665 P1000, three pedal set, 1 haptic for the brake: $607 I currently own HE Sprints, but want to upgrade and gain a clutch. I have not experienced any issues with the elastomers on it, and my iRating has improved tremendously with them :). edit: Dan Suzuki did say that Simagic will be releasing spring options for the P1000 brake, which makes it even more appealing. I know someone else asked the same question in these comments and your advice is "can't go wrong with either", in that case I'd probably go with the P1000's because of price and haptics :)
@chepilevski Жыл бұрын
I’m huge fan of the P1000 but the kit will be way more expensive than those here! However, you can use the Simagic Haptic motors on those too but that will be extra 150€ so, the cost will be very close at the end and I believe the haptic for brake is MUST 💪

I found myself using more and more the Simagic Alpha Ultimate as i like the quick release mount and some of there wheels but from FFB is just like the other bases in the settings I prefer! From pedals, there are so many choices is crazy! I believe the P1000 are the pedals of the year particularly with the haptic motors but ones those motors now can be attached to other pedals, you can choose whatever you want and just add somehow one motor at least to the brake! As I’ve said, just choose something which I s pleasant to your eye and don’t think too much about it as those high end products are really good!
