I really like the topflite kits. I've built the p47 with a dle 20 and almost finished a p40 with a ASP 120. Seems the 120 has plenty of power judging by this video. How is the p51 finished, is it glassed or iron on film?.

Jams. I built the same kit some years back and ran an os 1.20 fse. It sounded awesome, had great response and had plenty of power. I also glassed mine and used paint. Ultimately, I sold her and the gentleman that bought her from me ran it out of fuel on about his fifth flight and did Not have as good of a result as this video. Glad I was not there to cry when it happened! Lol

At that glide slope it would have done more damage. Dropping the landing gear would also induce below CG drag pushing the nose downward. Without thrust to compensate, it either noses down harder, or if you compensate by pulling back on the stick (first reaction) you stall. Belly landing FTW.

Top Flite make a good kit the only slight moan i have is the original bottom half of the plastic cowl started to crack so i first made a balsa copy but then made a mould from the original to produce my own fibre glass one which you can see on the plane.MJ.

Yes i have fitted a bigger tank now cant wait for Deano to fly it again the stall seemed very easy to handle the OS 120 a big improvement on the 95v i put in at first the extra power bought the mustang to life it seems well chuffed with my efforts.this was the first big model i have built.Mick Judson.thanks for all the nice comments.

This plane is now for sale i need room for next project .with 120 os barely used battery oleo struts with under carriage doors but no retract units, or pilot as you can see she flys well and sounds great,.michael judson £300 or very near offer.
