We are here in Brazil in prayer for all of you, especially for the firefighters. We have a trip scheduled for 15 days to arrive in Gatlinburg and our heart aches for all this situation you are going through. stay safe and well.

Glad y'all are safe. We lost our home here in 2016 and were ready to evacuate our new home Wed as well but thankfully did not have to. One thing our family is really advocating for here in Gatlinburg is for this area to seriously think about burying power lines. I realize it is an expensive proposition but we make plenty of money in this town and 95% of these fires would not happen if the power lines were buried. There are probably federal grants we could receive for this type of project as well. God Bless and stay safe!

I saw the news article this evacuation for Gatlinburg near the high school was lifted. I can’t imagine the feeling you felt. The thumbnail was wears valley so this video a little misleading being the video was posted only 4 hours ago. But, it’s good to know that where you are is absolutely fine and your home and family are safe. Hats off to the first responders as they are the true hero’s …they risk a lot to save a lot.

The thumbnail, which is what’s on the screen before the video plays, was 100% in Gatlinburg. We do not do clickbait. This video was made at 530am and put out as soon as we woke up from our hotel that we got because of the evacuation. The reason wears valley is mentioned is because when we went to sleep, before waking up to cops telling us to leave our home in the middle of the night we were just told the fire was now close to us, not where it was from as mentioned in the video. The night pictures of the fire is in Gatlinburg very close to our home. Wears valley is shut down. This was very real to us. I had to look at my daughter while she cried because we thought our home would be gone. When you get an alert on the phone there is no second alert that says, hey it’s over now. When we woke up we didn’t know what we would come home to- fire or trees on the house. No idea. Regardless of what you “read” NOTHING from THIS channel is clickbait. Everything is very real. THIS channel does not do anything for click bait or views, this is a hobby.

My friend and his family were staying at a cabin in Gatlinburg that night and were also evacuated at 2 am. They were allowed back the next morning, but they got their stuff and finished out their vacation at a hotel. He said they will never get a cabin that far off the main rd again

I think it lasted about 4 hours after the cop came to our door telling us to evacuate we didn’t know though they didn’t send it on the phone just the evacuation. But luckily everything was fine
