A devastating wildfire in Gatlinburg, Tennessee forced evacuations and killed 14 people in November 2016. This fire was a tragedy, many were hurt and many were killed, even some animals at an aquarium were killed I wish that we could have prevented this. The gatlinburg fire was one of the worst fires that happened fortunately gatlinburg was able to be fixed. I went to gatlinburg and realized that gatlinburg had a lot of wood things that could have caught fire and consequently caught nearby trees on fire spreading to grow bigger. If you go to gatlinburg ride the orange ski-lift up the mountain and you can see the charred remains of some trees. I’m just glad that the fire was extinguished.
