It must be a wonderful feeling of the relatives as waiting to reunite with their loved ones. Have any of the troops had any time off in all those months? Personally I am very proud to be British and extremely proud of our Military.

They've been on the US East Coast. Probably, Norfolk, Charleston, and the Carolina's Coast. Could be anywhere from NY to Miami. There are a lot of Naval Air, Live fire, bombing areas in the Carolina's.

One carrier has to be in port or the visiting personel have nowhere to stay. The RN doesn't have any accommodation so they use the messes under the ramp and yep they are pretty smashed up. Nice one RN.
