I love how operator Drewski just makes the smoothness of your brain shine. Love the part where he was trying to explain to you how he evaded the missile by going perpendicular (or something like that....I'm smooth brained too)

Radar guided missiles can ONLY see FORWARD or BACKWARDS movement. This means if you literally just side step perfectly 90 degrees to the missile, it'll still run into you because the second part of understanding notching is knowing missiles aren't completely stupid. If you're notching (side stepping the missile so your radar signature says 0 "movement") it'll still scan for any radar signature above terrain. Thidly and most importantly. Missiles at best see in greyscale because of how radar works. It "sees" in a dopler effect. (Think how submarines use sonar to "see" with just sound waves) This means that the radar can see everything that reflects radar waves. (This is mountains, planes, and SOME dense clouds possibly) but critically it CANNOT see the sky. Bringing all those points together means that the missile will see you in the sky regardless of if you notch. Get terrain behind you and the missile as you notch.

I like the contrast between Drew who's been doing this for years and at some point was gonna (and maybe still is) fly an actual fighter jet because he knows how it works so well, and you got Habie just trying to not crash 2 seconds after taking off. Now we just need an Ignis corp Arma event with Drew and habie trying to survive trough the shitshow for the ultimate crossover.

5:55 basically what drewski was explaining was notching a radar guided missile, so the missile basically has a radar that would filter out the ground and the ocean so if you have the missile directly to your left and right the missile will see you as a non moving object and wont be able to lock onto you and you basically just make the missile lose tracking of you.

Love Vtol Vr, before they implemented multiplayer you either had to mod it in or play jetborne racing. Jetborne racing was the test bed for vtol vr multiplayer. Although sad yet expected Jetborne racing died off once the official multiplayer for vtol dropped. Had so many funny moments and met amazing people in it, even set a few world record times and still currently hold 1 on the hardest map Infrastructure.

Flying a VTOL/Chopper takes learning at a SLOW pace. When I started to fly the VTOL for the first time, when I started to take off, I SLOWLY moved the joystick and throttle up to know what it feels like.
