@@alexbrown4820 I know what you’re talking about if you ever watch LS Dyno tests a lot of times you’ll see almost a double torque peak or you’ll see that dip in the mid range and from what I understand that’s a function of the runner length of the manifold if you look at some of the different runner length Dyno Tests you’ll see that certain runner lengths will take that out but it actually ends up having a dip elsewhere in the curve I’m not sure if you are completely able to tune that out

Richard, I think I’ve watched all of your Ford 5.0 intake and cylinder head comparison videos and I’d love to see or even your valuable opinion regarding the the stock intake manifolds and the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 intake manifold. I believe my car has some ECU issues and I’m thinking about an upgrade to the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 EFI. Thank you for your technical videos.

I had really good power with the GT40 intake, but I got even more power with the Edelbrock and the Edelbrock made the most power for me. The Edelbrock beat every other intake I tried. I used a 70mm throttle body. The GT40 intake just about as good as most of the other aftermarket intakes. Magic 5.0 camshaft I use is Crower 15511, which makes more power than the next larger Crower camshaft and equals the Ford 220/.498"/110 camshaft for power. Two Crower cam sizes up for a 331 stroker though. For me the GT40 intake was about as good as the Trick Flow intake, but the Edelbrock beat all of them. The Trick Flow valve springs are good, as is the Trick Flow stage two camshaft, if changing pistons. Both the Crower and Ford cams beat the Trick Flow stage one cam, but the stage two camshaft beat all of them, but requires piston clearance.

Which edelbrock intake are you talking about here the performer or the rpm

@@brettkelly1436 The RPM. I didn't know Edelbrock made a smaller one.

the RPM II is very good-but trades power like the SysteMax-the GT-40 is not close to power of either of those, nor does it make what a TFS Street Heat or Burner intake does
@jimjungle13972 жыл бұрын
@@richardholdener1727 There was another one we tried and I think it was "II" version of the Holley Systemax (Systemax II). It was better than the GT40, but not as good as the RPM. Holley made a smaller Systemax version too, that wasn't very good at power, even compared to the GT40.

The 70 mm makes a big difference of horsepower and the air to fuel mixture ratio!! Not really hardly much of a comparison when the explorer comes factory with the 70 mm throttle body!? 👌🤷🤯😮💨
