we love that truck. shes been a good freind. i like you guys. that powerstroke in the baja was aewsome. i read about you in diesel power all the time. we gotta do a oil change soon on her, so we got like 240 250k miles on her, that thing is great.

Wow, this looks great! What kit would you guys recommend for my 93 f250 7.3 idi non turbo? Gonna be doing a cross country trip pulling about 10,000 all summer. Looking for performance and reliability. Thanks!

Uhhhh anytime you unbolt the rotating assembly of a turbocharger, you need to perform a high speed balance. You cannot simply bolt on a new compressor wheel, this will cause vibration issues and premature turbo failure. These things spin 50,000 rpms +

Hi leadfoot driver. You're in luck, as we have our Techni-Cooler for '94-03 7.3L Fords. As we like to say, it's cheaper to keep her! Banks products will add new life to your old friend.

hello banks, i'm going a bit backwards here but i now have two 7.3 diesels one in a 95 stake body (dd) the other i'm still installing into my 96 bronco (97 engine) with some 70hp injector nozzles and a 6 blade compressor wheel, the question is can your tuner be sent with custom tunes to use the injector nozzles i'm using as the base line before added power, it will be some time but i'm planning on the banks power pack for both as money comes in, though id like to use afm injector nozzles on both

Bryan Casillas what I meant was that there are two turbos in this video , never removed the turbo from the truck , if he did remove the turbo the pedestal would have still been attached

DirtMcGert29054 nah the pedestal wouldn't of still be with it. You can unbolt the turbo from that. But the EBPV would of been on the exhaust portion of the turbo. It's the part that connects to your down pipe exhaust. That's bolted onto the exhaust portion. Saying that, he would have to swap it over to the new banks housing then put it back on the truck

Keep in mind that the PowerPack is a complete system, with intake, exhaust, tuning, and turbo components all engineered to work together. The words easy and replace turbo on a 7.3 should not even be used in the same statement .. pulling a turbo on a7.3 is almost the hardest job you will do on that engine.. them 4 ped bolts are nightmare fuel.

I put one of these on my 2002 450 repo truck and I loved it... not hard core but it sounded way better than the stock turbo... check out my videos and and you'll hear it... lol

Sadly I remember when this episode was first aired. And I just realized that. My whole teenage years were all lies 😂😂. But that truck was new then so it definitely doesn’t have decades of heating and cooling and corrosion like they do now.

JOKE! over 30psi boost on that stock shaft and garbage thrust bearing? Sure, for a little while.... FAR from "just as reliable" as stock. If you have the turbo out and apart, you can do a much better upgrade than this Banks joke.

Update, had the banks upgrade for a year and still haven't seen anywhere NEAR 30psi. Helped with turbo surge though. Get a KC turbo.
