Hey Scotty I had the Stage 1 done on my ba XR6 T which includes 1000cc injectors and a PCMTUNE. Does my car need an exhaust and a IC? Regards Barra World

If you do a full exhaust just make sure you get the flapper mod done first

How good are the BF’s turbos..ha I have one.,, running same power as yours and it’s just enough to have fun on the street and surprise a few v8.. and I’ve rebuild my box at 120..it slips in 3rd.. due to a bad tune lol.., all fixed..., now my computer is fucked yay.. so yeah $950 plus a retune..

Love your Chanel mate, were there any concerns about comp ratios? Turbo 6’s are 8.7 or something and n/a are 10.3 or around that. Obviously less of a concern on low boost but was that a worry when building this beauty?

I guess to answer your question.. it’s all in the tune, smashing the power on with high comp is probably not the best idea, so they bring it on enough so the car is happy & the tuner is happy.

Nice work Scotty, the ZF6 trans are well known for slipping if the oil level is not perfect and the extra power may have highlighted this. Anyway what is the model number of the trans going in assuming you stick with original BF turbo trans? I know the na trans you have know is the ZF6HP26.

@@vlt9psi hey Scott I just had my BA XR6 Turbo full engine build it is a t5 manual but box Shat itself so going full bulit tr6060 you should have a look into them awesome power handling

yeah found a cheap turbo zf, got gilroys race transmissions to open it up and check everything then i had to sell it :(
