FORD BRONCO ARB Twin air compressor install FPP

I get a ton of questions either here or on Instagram about my setup so I figured I’d just document everything on the new rig. I’m so excited to yet again be working in harmony with Ford Performance Parts and ARB with this setup. Having on-board air is crucial in my opinion if you’re a frequent offroad enthusiast. I air down literally every time I leave pavement to play. Being able to air back up by having a FPP + ARB Twin Air Compressor is a convenience so worth having. Not having to bum air off a buddy, hold the pack up, or be stuck somewhere with a flat after plugging a tire etc. here’s somewhat of a step by step how to install video. Hope it’s helpful!

The video really helped. Thanks. It took me 8 hours, 3 of which was the one bolt that goes into the firewall. Lining that up was an exercise in frustration. Two tips, make sure the computer plug is below the bracket. Once installed you can’t fish it underneath without taking out the compressor. The other tip is to align the brackets using the compressor base before you mount the compressor. I had to uninstall and reinstall a few times before I got the bolt holes to line up correctly.

Great video! I relied on it for my install today. One note - my kit had 3 M10: 2 flange and 1 SEMS (with the washer and spring washer); SEMS goes to the firewall! I had to undo and redo the toughest part! Hopefully other people see this before they attempt!

You should just install the KR Off-Road bracket. Easiest compressor mounting system for the Broncos. No need to relocate anything just bolts right in!

Alot of work, is there any advantage? There are tons of portable compressors that plug into the socket there is an outlet in the back... It makes it that much harder to work on the engine when needed. I don't get it.

Packing with two dogs, wife, all the gear etc any all space not used inside of cabin is a plus. Hard core off-roading having to tie and securing things down to keep from literally hitting the roof, all portable compressors are 20+ lbs thus eliminating 1 more projectile inside cabin space when bombing down trails offroad. Convenience… I air up and down VEry Frequently all I have to do is grab 1 hose and hit switch to air up thus again eliminating time wasted digging a portable one out of back, hooking up power leads, dusting unit off after using and repacking/ securing it in cabin…equals time wasted. Depends on the user. Hard mounted on board air for avid offroad enthusiasts is 100% the way to go. You may not require that

Instead of routing to the aux switch board does this kit have the on/off switch like the Grimm kit?

I'm getting this setup but I'm considering having my dealer do the install before I take delivery. Just wondering what the install cost is. Sounds like a 3 shop hour bill

​@ChaseGentry I asked my dealer to order this kit and install it. They told me 7 hours and $1200 to install. I told them to just order it and I would install and they told me they couldn't order it. I ordered it, I will install it, I will be looking for another dealer for my transactions. Thank you for this video. I'll be referencing it next weekend on my install

How much clearance is there between compressor and air box. The reason I ask is I’ve added an Ingen cold air and the filter box is larger. Want to make sure this will fit before I order!!
