I have a 2022 Outer Banks (2.3L) with almost 42k miles. I cracked 27mpg for a brief time but have kept it in the neighborhood of 25.5 - 26.5 for the better part of a year. I live in the Pittsburgh area.

@@Johnnyscarcarereviews You're welcome! I'm constantly ECO mode (unless I have to get out of a tight position) and use cruise control as much as humanly possible. It's definitely a disciplined behavior.

Hey Johnny,I’m getting 22.3 average. Around town and highway. Badlands 4 door non sas 2.7. Live at 8200 ft. Run 91 octane. Don’t have a heavy foot:). Most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned. Absolutely love it. Wouldn’t trade it for anything else. Waited 2 years to get it. Happy Trails

Just picked a brand new 2023 (Nov build date) 2.7 big bend with Sasquatch and mid level. Coming over from a Wrangler JLUS 2.0t. So far, fuel economy is pretty much the same, but that’s using regular gas in the bronco vs premium in the wrangler. We also have a 2029 wrangler JLUS 3.6, and fuel economy is dead on the same. We have a soft top with a hard top ordered, but so far the wind noise isn’t that much worse then the wrangler with the factory hard top. The bronco does handle better on the highway and bends, and handles the bumps better. Love the blue color and the interior, it’s a lot more spacious than the wrangler. So far, so good.

Love my 2023 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with 2.3 l. Did the 1 inch Zone level/lift, with BFG KO2 275/70/18. Getting 9.8 litres/100km on the highway and 10.9 litres/100 in town.

@Johnnyscarcarereviews ok so on your tripometer, it shows 9.8 per 100km? And you're getting 10.9 in city? So you're getring about 600km to a full tank? 80L tank?
@WaterWalker163 ай бұрын
@@MrTazzy21 When doing long distance highway driving my best tripometer has shown 673 km. But can honestly say it's typically in the 640 km range on the highway. I think the 4 door Bronco Outerbanks fuel tank capacity is 79.0 litres.

Best I’ve gotten on a trip was 21 mpg on mostly back roads. Around town I am averaging 17-18 mpg. 2023 two door Badlands, non sas with 2.7 engine. It’s a heavy vehicle but does use regular gas. Thanks for the info. 😎

My 22 Base with the 2.3l had 20mpg (11.7l/100km) on the sticker but i'm getting 22mpg (10.7l/100km) on the stock tires with a 50/50 city/hway mix. That rate drops to 18mpg with my winter/AT tires. I only use 87 octane gas but I usually drive in ECO mode.

Awesome feedback. Greatly appreciated. Some fuel brands with 93 octane were very much worth it during our Florida fuel test runs.

hi,i like to look and compare.i like the style,i currently have a 2023 jeep renegade trailhawk which wont come in the US anymore, bums me out.anyway i have been surprized with the 1.3 4cyl turbo.i went to slc yesterday and new it would be an extreme test. 440 miles total, 80 mph across salt flats at 100+ degrees and it did good 24.8 mpg.had oil changed today at 3250 miles was down 1/2 qt and little dirty so i see changing oil more often to keep turbo happy plus having to use premium fuel.after saying all that i really like it.the bronco i think would fit me fine when the time comes.thank you

Considering Bronco, if 2025 doesn't have 2.3L, then we might loose the MT option? 2.7L mpg is going to be even worse, I thought the Porsche Cayman CTS4.0 and M2(both owed before) mpg are bad enough, Bronco is beating them :)

Thankfully the comments section has done a great job of sharing their Broncos with there fuel economy. Rule of thumb I'd say for every 1 inch of lift and or tires we remove we save about 1 mpg.
