Uh......I would have kept the manual tranny in it and converted it to the floor shifter. I’ve got a 1970 bronco and mines converted over to the floor shifter and I like it very much. I even found a top loader 4 speed tranny that mates up to the transfer case for it and I installed it myself

Love the show but the audience was tricked on this one. The original bronco was ditched and replaced at the last minute with a completely different vehicle.

Three on the trees suck to drive, my Fairlane is a testament to that. Broncos are more enjoyable in automatic anyway, and I'm happy my 73 came as an auto.
