I absolutely love the soft top!! It took my husband and I literally 2 seconds to pull it back. We didn't have to take parts off and store them and then when the sun got too hot we pulled over and we locked it right back on again. We didn't have to go home and get our top or take up all the room in the Bronco to store those huge plastic peices. I also love unlike the hard top I can do the soft top myself. The hard top needs two people especially for the back part. The soft top is definitely the way to go if you live at the beach. I should also mention my neighbor has the hard top and when it starts pouring rain he is completely screwed we just snap it back on wherever we are. 😉

You nailed this review. Somewhere between a Jeep and a 4Runner. I love my new Bronco but I love Wranglers too. No regrets so far on the Bronco OB.

I'm going to order a 2 door Outer Banks next time orders open. Mine will never be off road, probably never be on a gravel road. The doors will never come off. It will fit in my garage better than my Ranger and it is a whole lot cooler than an Escape. I've never been interested in a Jeep but I really like this Bronco. No interest in the 4 door, has to be a 2 door.

I owned and restore a 1974 Ford Bronco. I bought a Jeep JK after years of waiting on Ford to release the new Bronco. There is just something unique to me about owning a Bronco as a result. With that being said, I do mild off-roading and find that the Bronco will do everything that I have done the last several years with the Jeep. I have an order in for a Badlands Edition, but there are some things I will miss about the Jeep. Technology is great, but manual transfer cases and the experience you have from actually driving on trails will always be better to me than advance technology that takes it away from the driver. If I had to choose for a weekend trail rider, I think I would take the Jeep. But for everyday use and an occasional trail, I will go with the Bronco.

I ordered an Outer Banks with the Sasquatch Package and the Lux Package because I want the adaptive cruise-control on the highway, but I also want to be able to go damn near anywhere off-road. Like you, I'm wondering how the "normal" upholstery and carpet will fare over time -- the Badlands had that super rugged interior, but you couldn't get the Lux package on it, which is a shame. Would've gotten that if I could, but I *have* to have adaptive cruise. It's definitely a deal-breaker, not having that on a daily-driver.

You can get Lux on badlands but not the black diamond

About your comment about the trim …. You said all OUTERBANKS has the blue trim …. Not true. If you have the brown interior yes, but if you have the navy pier color you get a grey trim

Actually Ford designed the iconic Jeep look in WW2. Bantam’s design looked very little like the classic Jeep look. They went with Ford’s styling across the board regardless of who made a particular run of the JP in WW2.

how tough is to remove the hard top with the roof rack on?

Jeep has a heritage of making a Wrangler in like 20 different designs , its not like its the same jeep with minor changes. I honestly do not think you can even call a 1990 Jeep wrangler the same as a 2022 jeep wrangler , sure they may look the same at a glance but they are built completely different , drive completely different , it might as well not be a wrangler if you ask me. Ford went back to a classic Scout design and gave it a fresh new look and yes its still a completely different Bronco than the Scout of the 70's but at a glance they look similar.

with that roof rack installed, does taking off the roof in the rear non-existent ?
@TexasTruckChannel3 жыл бұрын
With the roof rack installed you can still remove the front row roof panels. But not the second row, or rear section. Luckily the roof rack is easy to remove when not in use.

Awesome video, nice job guys. How old is the bronco in the video? I noticed there is a lot of rust on it when the camera is doing it’s thing in regards to the suspension and underbody.

The only thing this thing is missing is the mud flaps. Nobody likes chipped paint and mud on the door handles.
