When I was 18, living in Canada, I was lucky enough to own one of these beauties. It was a 1973 British racing green, tan interior, Cologne V6. My favourite and much missed car for sure!!

Classic Focus Capri from the 70s. My favourite Fords are the Escort mk1&2, Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4, Capri& Mustang.

Since Ford are not producing cars any longer except for the Mustang they should retro the old model escorts and Capri's where i think there is a strong market

I always read that the original (1969) RS2600 was built without bumpers and Minilite wheels for lightweight homologation. This car is stated as being a 1972. Only the very first few were as seen in this clip. Nevertheless, it's a really nice example of an RS2600.

+Capri Driver The Car shown is derived from a limited series which was produced only 250 Cars from Ford Cologne in the early 70s ('72 to '73) just before the Mk2 appeared as a homologation car for the DRM (German Motorsport Championship). Ford competed against the BMW 3.0 CS and many more. That is why the car is stripped down and has also special hoods which are from fiberglass I believe.

no you are talking about the RS 3100 , There were 250 made of those , they made over 3000 RS 2600s like the one in the video , the pre production models had plastic doors and fiberglass bonnets and wings but the production models were metal

Like Capri Power?Take a Capri 3 (2,3l)put a2,6Engine in with the caburator from the 2,3 Motor that's good for about 6000rounds/pm and 205-215 on the clock!

I USED TO HAVE WON SAME SHAPE, BUT ONLY IT WAS A RS 3200 AND IT USED TO FLY IT WOULD BLOW AWAY ANY RX7 OF THE 80S AND I HAD IT WOUND UP OVER 140 MILES AN HOUR

King Galfrid E reg Ford Capri 280 1987. The Special built in December it's on the log book on a D reg 1986

UK D reg is 86-87, E reg 87-88. 280 is a 1987 model, but built in Dec 86. It's the same with Capri RS3100, which was built in Dec 73 but is a 1974 model.
