For more than 55 years, the Ford Mustang has been evolving into a more advanced vehicle. This model comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission and a 310-hp turbocharged inline-four EcoBoost engine. The Mustang GT with its 450-hp V-8 engine is the more conventional alternative, despite the pony car's ability to be as wild as the Shelby GT500, which was evaluated independently. Both the four-cylinder and V-8 engines can be mated to either a 10-speed automatic or a manual transmission. Mustangs are available as either hard-top coupes or soft-top convertibles, but they are all rear-wheel drive. The growling V-8 is the engine that the Mustang is perfectly suited for, despite the four-cylinder having a High Performance 330-hp EcoBoost option. Although the Chevy Camaro, the Mustang's closest muscular opponent, has a more pleasant cabin, the Mustang's bigger back seat and improved outside vision make it simpler to live with. Fans of the current model will recognize the new Ford Mustang, but its exterior has been completely redesigned. According to Ford executives, they gave the historically inspired design a modern twist, and they believe that it will appeal to the greatest number of Mustang buyers to date. The appearance of the 2018 Mustang's front fascia has been altered to be more aggressive and menacing. Its low horizontal forehead and modern LED headlights are reminiscent of the original 1960s design. The big, three-section bonnet is another characteristic Mustang design aspect. The 2018 Ford Mustang lineup includes three separate models, each with a unique front end design. The basic GT model features a more prominent front splitter, hood vents, and grille openings. The new Ford Mustang has a larger deck, "edgy" tri-bar lighting, widened rear haunches, and a reduced rear overhang. Mustangs manufactured in the 1960s lack a rear diffuser with an upward sweep to improve aerodynamic balance. Ford is happy with the new Mustang's driver-focused interior. The producer claims that it "combines the best of the past, present, and future." A more open-plan design with dual screens covered in a single piece of glass has taken the place of the old double-brow upper dashboard. The driver is presented with a 12.4-inch entirely adjustable instrument cluster that features a broad selection of displays, including retro-style Mustang gauges. A 13.2-inch stack with the Ford Sync 4 infotainment system running on top features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. According to Ford, "We knew what customers wanted and created the most digital Mustang ever while keeping the driver-focused cockpit." In a controversial choice, the actual buttons for the radio and climate control have been replaced by digital displays. According to the study, it was liked by millennials, Gen Z, and classic Mustang drivers alike. Using the excess space, a wireless smartphone charging pad was created. The 2017 Ford Mustang will be available in 12 distinct colors, including three brand-new hues: Blue Ember, Vapor Blue, and Yellow Splash. In addition, Mustang-branded brake calipers are available in either red or black. Both feature the Mustang logo on them. The fifth generation S550 chassis is bookended by the 2023 Mustang, and an altogether new S650 Mustang with new looks, more power, and a considerably more technologically advanced interior will go on sale sometime in the summer of 2023.

DarkHorse is 500 HP and 418 FT LB of torque. I'm thinking the DarkHorse would be nice to have, But for that extra $20k-$30k You can buy a GT model with upgrades from the dealership like supercharged or turbos with over 650-700HP and still come in at a price lower than the DH. Just my opinion. Only thing you won't have is the DarkHorse badging.

@@lincolnls0416 From Ford themselves. It will have 500HP and 418 ft lbs of torque. Their estimate is a little high. Now, The DarkHorse S, Or DarkHorse R models might end up with 700 HP, Yet neither one of those models are street legal as they are specifically designed for racing, Including a new Ford only race class. But hey, It's ok to have your opinion, As I have mine although it is per Ford's announcement, But All I will say is we will see when the car is released for sale. There are videos released with false numbers everywhere, Pretty sure it's for click bait to get more views, But I'm pretty sure The number that Ford's lead designer of the S650 released will be the number people should expect, And not be let down when it doesn't give a 700HP spec on the info sheets at purchase.

So many people put false info in their titles to trick people into clicking on their video, Something that should be removed for the false and sometimes confusing info. It should be in the terms that click baiting will result in videos being removed and channels canceled if it's done repeatedly. It's crazy how people give false info and even fake pictures set as the video thumbnail to trick people into watching a video that isn't even going to provide the content expected. But yeah, When it comes to new vehicles coming out, It's best to look for videos from the actual manufacturers. That's the best bet on reliable Information. Also, I'm a huge Mustang fan, Have owned 39 Mustangs so far! As you can see, My name is short for "Stang Lover" lol. Not specifically a Ford guy, But strictly a Mustang Guy haha.

Personally, if a muscle/pony car has less than 8 cylinders I'm just not spending my money on it. Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers, Camaros etc were always loved for that V8 sound, there's nothing like it, and 10 gears is about 4 too many.

Wow ...look at those lines and styling cues,see how the took the hard edges off and rounded them out,and the new side markers flow with the radius of the wheel wells..the widened and rounded rear end (hips) loved the new heat extractor on the hood..I'm convinced they copied the 6th gen Camaro without a doubt in my mind..put those two ponies side by side see for yourself

So how many SPARE splitters come with the car?? Why do car manufactures insist on making the car so low? I need to know in inches, what is the ground clearance with and without the splitter.
