Ford Crown Victoria Police Detective Lights & Siren

Equipment installed - Federal Signal Smart Siren S2000, Whelen Avenger windshield LED's, Code 3 rear window LED's, and code 3 strobes in all corner lights and reverse lights.
This was a rental car for movie productions. All the equipment is disabled and components removed when used as a daily driver.

Fyi to everyone who wants to play cop if you didn't know california just passed a law in February if you are not a law enforcement officer in the state of California it is now a felony to posses red and blue lights, red and white, red and Amber or amber and blue and if you have any siren installed in the vehicle it is also a felony. If it us a vehicle used for film production all warning lights and siren must be removed from the vehicle and must transported to the production location in a seperate vehicle and when on location for production they can be re installed, and even when filming the vehicle can not operate on any roadway maintained by the state of California. This law also covers vehicles used by companies that sell emergency warning products and use a "demo" vehicle to show their products.

This one came with chrome trim pieces in order to look like a civilian model Crown Victoria. Ford calls this option "Street Appearance Package"

Where did you mount the brain box for the Smart Siren?

I didn't get too creative with this one. I just mounted it under the front passenger seat. Not the best place, but most convenient for quick setup. It was just used for films.

I used to outfit these cars with police equipment and rent them out for movie production companies. They can still be used on the streets the lights just cant be used.

This is a Police Interceptor. This one has the "Street Appearance Package" so it looks like a civilian car. The grill color means nothing its just a matter of what cosmetic options the police departments order.
