Super helpful, thank you. I am trying to fix an e350 econoline XLT with the exact same issues; wander, sway, harsh ride, poor steering control, etc. I was white knuckling it on the highway all the way back from Alabama! Now I know where to start :)

I had a full suspension upgrade done on my 2020 Class C E450 at WeldTec Designs with a 6" lift and all-terrain tires. NIGHT AND DAY transformation! Not cheap by any means ($9k) but a pleasure to drive on and off-road.

You know this all well and good and I’m sure these upgrades help, however this is the problem people buy these bigger vehicles of which are essentially commercial or work truck chassis and the are all surprised or miffed when they don’t handle like a tiny crossover.

We have a 2021 E450 26’ Motorhome. Yes it has sway issues. Where do we get more information? Does the rear axle SS bar help a lot?

2013 24ft E350 Thor. I understand the chassis comes with a bare minimum set of leaf springs in the rear so is an upgrade to a heavier duty recommended and what part number?

What is the trick to removing the interior fuse block cover? I have already broken a small chip off it and I don't want to break it completely. What is the white lever all about. This is on a 2016 E 450. Technically it is a Class C Motorhome.

We see quite a few of these coaches in our shop and we get good results with similar upgrades on them, but the Road Performance Assessment does help us pinpoint our recommendations for each specific case. We feel this is helpful info for owners of E-series Fords to know!

had that exact van and did all the mods you did and more and still handled terrible. sold it and bought a dynamic way better drive. had our van for 14 years and tried everything to make it better.
