I bought Ecosport Titanium + Automatic in July 2019. I did test drive on almost 5 cars inclding Maruti Brezza AMT auto, Tata Neon (AMT), XUV 300 etc.. Actually I didn't have a plan to buy Ford Car as I was told maintanance cost too high. But one day ford sales person came to me with Ecosport and I did my test drive. It was super to drive..... built quality is superb, vry rigid body, They give much imortance for safety as it has six Air bags, EBD, Traction Controll etc.. Now my wife is also riding it .

Twice I came very very close to buying a Ford Eco Sports but both time I stood down and opted for a different competition model. Many of you may or may not agree but here are my list of reasons... 1. List of safety features primarily linked to driving dont just add up if you still go with Disk brakes in front and Drum Brakes in rear, especially in india where we experience good to heavy monsoons and not so good road conditions. 2.Eco Sports has been launched internationally with 4X4 version almost 2 years ago & the latest update of internalizing the spare wheel a few months back, both were not considered for India. 3. Gear Shift is still mated to a 5 speed manual,when the entire world motor has moved up to 6 speed manual or a 7 - 8 speed DCT or DSG....none of the options were made available in India 4. 1.0 Eco boost got launched internationally with retuning @ 128 bhp.. where it is not even in the horizon in india. 5. No paddle shifters after 10 years of their presence in indian market. 6. UI software ,still after so many upgrades and versions dont even include some of the basic but very fundamental informations which are being made available in other Brands of Cars , from same price range. So while I thoroughly enjoyed my drive quality with a Eco Sport all three variant, 1.5 liter petrol, 1.5 diesel & 1.0 eco boost and all 3 of them individually in excess of 1k, kms but it always left me wanting. Somewhere deep down my conviction only got more stronger that for Ford, India and Indian customers are still not Important or Mature enough to handle drive quality enhancements features, which were introduced internationally but they consciously chose to keep india as a back ward market.... and no doubt if Ford has been steadily losing their market share in India it is because of their this Backwardly mindset about india and indian consumers. I am sure if any one from Ford even bothers to read this, even in long shot decides to make the changes in the indian model of Eco sports with a tad increase in price, they not only will breath in a new life into this model but will have a very good chance to regain their market share in the 4 meter SUV segment. Nexons diesel is more fun to drive and is more powerful, although I like way the EcoSport handles, more. I wonder why Ford offers aspire, which costs lesser than the EcoSport, 215 nm of torque while the much heavier EcoSport ( almost 1300 kgs IIRC ), only gets 205 nm. Should be the other way around. But on the other hand, we get a crazy light sedan with a powerful diesel that literally flies to 100. I just love Figo/aspire.

@@vaasuagrawal4062 it does that only now. Also, yes it is very fun to drive, I have driven the ecosport and I love it but the 1.5 tdci isn't the fastest engine in its class. The 1.5 revotorq and the xuv300 diesel is more powerful. Also, the ride quality is set up for handling in the ecosport, so the ride is harsher than the competition, which may or may not appeal to many.

I bought ford titanium+ (petrol) few months back... earlier i was opting for hyundai venue and i even gave the booking amount for that but i don't know somehow i changed my mind and chose eco sport and seriously that was the best thing i did at that time.. this car is phenomenal in its segment.. i live in uttarakhand and i had driven it in hills,took it to highways and the performance was outstanding.. it's really fun to drive..

Which car do u suggest for a 6ft height person because for me legs are always clashing with the bottom of the steering wheel unless I push the seat all the way backward. But with ecosport I found it is the only car in the segment with a telescopic steering wheel. So you can pull it towards yourself and get some more space. As you are 6ft, did you need to adjust the telescopic steering wheel (pulling it towards yourself) to fit your legs? Share your exp.

I have Ecosport titanium petrol version. I have driven this car in all situations and based on that I can say that its gear shifting and clutch are of top notch quality and butterly smooth. I never felt any issue in extreme bumper to bumper traffic.

Hiii I own Ecosport S Petrol version 2018. Iam facing one problem frequently. Most of the time the front left side door do not open with keyless entry some time its open n some time not. But no problem with driver side door. So please let me know why this is happening and how to overcome this?

Most probably the defective lock/unlock sensor on the left door. Get it checked in the nearby service center, they'll replace it without any cost if your car is under warranty.

Only for linear power delivery and refined unit you can not pay 2 lakh rs more for ecosports where as nexon has better handling, ride quality and comfort as well with better mileage also with ecomode so over all nexon is best package in the segment. Now many reviews coming of nexon completing 70000 km running without problem so durability or reliability also have no problem with nexon .
