Very accurate verdict.... BITTER TRUTH that needs to be told :- Ford Ecosport is a very UNDERRATED product in India and we Indians fail to acknowledge its built quality and fun to drive driving-handling nature!!!

That is a issue with us since we go for Suzuki's etc which have horseshit driving dynamics....these cars are offer International level of driving dynamics etc. We owned the first gen Ikon in 2001....the car drive fabulous, was properly built, I went nuts when I saw power windows in a car. The Focus and modeos are all beautiful cars.... it's only here that those cars didn't pick up. We used the Ikon for 8 years, worked like a charm ...sold it and bought a Corolla Altis in 2009. Altis is still strong even 10 years later, got a 2.8 z Crysta as well.

This comparison ICN Video helped me doing the following, was looking for Automatic Sub 4 meter SUV. Test driven following vehcles : Venue DCT : Engine wise I liked it. Rest of the car was not worth 14 Lac on road price. Only 2 airbags for automatic variant, most of features I felt are gimmicks which I may never use. The infotainment display fitting is like tab fixed in dashboard. Nexon AT : The head nod & jerkiness., Driver position & driving dynamics were not for my liking as I was not comfortable. XUV 300 - I have not test driven as I didn't like the looks of it, felt like old swift on steroids. Hence, never considered it. Ford EcoSport Automatic : The torque converter was good but personally I felt Venue DCT was better. Rest of the car was awesome, felt like driving real SUV and the build quality was too good. Hence, I requested Ford for maual test drive.. Ford EcoSport Manual : I liked it to the core, it has put a smile on my face. Infact, my friend who accompanied mentioned that he has never seen me so happy driving any car. Hence, booked EcoSport S variant. Received EcoSport S car last week, driven from Bangalore to Hyderabad to Vijayawada to Hyderabad. (Some local traffic rides as well) Almost 1.8 k kilometers.. all the way it impressed me with smile all the way. Never felt need of automatic. #Ford family wali feeling :)

@@VishnuSatyen i have 2015 model diesel. Its clutch is a bit hard. But new models after 2017 dont have such issue. You may visit a dealership and do a test drive before purchase anyday. Though i am not facing any problem because of this hard clutch though.

Ecosport is the best compact suv....I recently purchased it in June 2019 leaving aside venue.... Venue is attracting buyers due to its new style DRLs and lamps set up at the front and blue Link features ....But its inside cabin, rear trunk profile and height gives it a look of a hatchback..... Moreover, it comes with only two rear parking sensors, no sunglass holder, no lights on all power window button, no electrochromic mirror, no Tyre Pressure Monitoring system, steering with tilt option no telescopic, under powered engines etc and due to same it is cheaper. On contrary, Eco is beast with muscular front, powerful engine, robust build quality, sporty cabin and fun to drive car with best handing quality and provides most of necessary features in its base variant which overshadows venue in all departments.

After test driving both the venue sx diesel and ecosport thunder diesel myself, I personally agree 100% with your findings and conclusion ,may it be driving performance, handling or may it be rear seating comfort ,ecosport excels than venue in every segment. I agree Hyundai Venue mein bahut si khubiyan hain par EcoSport mein bhi laghbhag wahi sab kuch hai + better driving dynamics hain. Ek product jyada achhi sales sirf isilye nahi karta ki wo achha hai, balki ek company ke jyada bade sales network ki wajah se. isilye top 10 selling cars mein ab bhi Maruti ke 6-7 products hote hain. Par iska ye matlab nahi ki wo sabhi products apne respective segments mein best ho. As a product, I personally feel EcoSport is very good despite being the oldest in its class.

Ecosport diesel gives me mileage of 23-25 on highways. Yes clutch is a bit hard but buoy its handling and driving comfort is beyond imagination. Ultimate car. I preferred it over the Nexon because of handling and lower after sales cost.

Missing features on hyundai auto irvm that's basic in top end also connectivity is good but can't miss on basic features In india this features are totally depended on network and we know how good is our network in the hills and remote areas it also showcased that hyundai call centre is still not activated when you all are were test driving many journo's trip to connect with the call centre and failed. Yes in fir and finish hyundai is a better car but in driving dynamics it's difficult to beat Ford. But very very good review Yogiji 👍👌compare the sane with Xuv300 and and auto shootout required

Great Video. I chose and bought the Ecosport S variant over the Venue for all the positives mentioned in the video. However what surprised me was the part about the suspension of the Ecosport being superior to the Venue on bad roads. Here I thought that was the main draw back of the ecosport.
