Current EcoSport owners are finding it really difficult to upgrade their garage. There is absolutely no other car that comes close to the EcoSport in terms of driving dynamics, handling, features, looks and service/spare costs without breaking the bank balance. The next similar option would be the Jeep Compass which is almost 30L+ OTR. The most logical upgrade for EcoSport owners was meant to be the might Endeavour, sadly Ford has packed it's bags already and finding a decently used Endeavor is a up-hill task.

There was one option but it is sadly discontinued.....the Nissan Kicks. The turbo petrol and diesel were gems and the ride, build were similar if not better to the ecosport.

Love you Ford..... Our first car Ford Figo.... That's a gem... 1.5tdci is on another league.... Indians failed to utilise their expertise. We either go to tin cans or desi steel. There's a balance and the pinnacle of expertise in Ford cars. The ride, the handling, the engine (drive 1.5 diesel of Figo) is unmatched. Efficiency and power. Endeavour is my dream car but now I can't but it... Miss you alot Ford. Just 2 days back i went to Lakshmi Ford Vijayawada, the service experience on par with luxury brands like Merc. Thr receiving, response, expertise, lounge are top notch. TATA or any other brands can't achieve this any time soon.

One thing to point out here, the Titanium S, which you mentioned as the enthusiast's version also came in Diesel and not just the Ecoboost. It was extremely rare and I have one of the last ones that were manufactured before the company stopped production.

Sold my 2014 ford ecosport diesel manual this year due to 10 years ban in NCR and that too cars24. Have clocked 1 lakh km and it was still running strong. Surprising feature of ecosport imo is its reliability. No one talks about it. And on top of the low maintenance cost from ford for it, Even after their exit. PS. - here Cars24 is going gaga over ecosport but they finessed me while buying it from me.

1:19 proud owner of ford ecosport. Chose ecosport as there was no competition from other brands like Honda , Renault, kia , maruti , or Mahindra where the price to feature ratio was very high when it came to ford ecosport. After getting ford I was very happy as we run at a hilly area with bumpy roads and kacchaa roads too . The only drawback was it was a manual transmission vehicle. As I was driving my ford around 800km per week or more the clutch and gear felt heavy to shift . The engine offered milage of around 24km per leter when I travelled to Hyderabad from Bengaluru. After that I purchased kia sonet because it was the only diesel automatic available in market at my budget of 16 lakh . Now every time I start Kia I remember my ford ecosport.
