Ford Escape 2nd Generation easier fog lamp replacement

The only instructional video I could find to replace the fog light told me to remove the grill, bumper, inner panels, etc.
Here is an easier way!!

For those of you that have never done this you will need an automotive pick to separate the bulb and lamp. You are also going to need a short 10mm socket for the passenger side lamb as there is a windshield wiper water tank right behind the light.

Thank you. The tip with the 10 mm socket to push the assembly out was worth the video alone. Did it myself on a Mercury Mariner this morning.

Regarding the DIELECTRIC grease, the word, "dielectric" means "insulating". It is important to apply a thin film of this grease on all NON-metal parts which need to be sealed against water. It also makes inserting the plug, boots or whatever, much easier. it is safer for rubber, vinyl and other flexible parts than Vaseline which can dissolve them. However, do NOT apply DIELECTRIC grease to metal-to-metal contact points because it will interfere with the conduction. I love the stuff and I've been using it for years. A little goes a very long ways.

Wonderful. My 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid's fog light stopped workng too. Can't just the bulb be replaced instead of changing the whole assembly? The assembly is brand new. I just need the bulb to be replaced. If yes, please let me know what is the model of the bulb required?
