Some people need to turn there brain on an realize that you dont need a fancy clean an organized shop to do a teardown. Yo Brandon, am impressed on how easy you can take a trans apart. Would like to see a video putting it back together an checking clearances here an there for the weekend wrench DIY guy. Thumbs up.

A heavyset man with a southern accent, wearing bib overalls, called "Bubba"... OK, you have my attention. Before he even starts working, he gets a huge pinch of wintergreeen Skoal... I completely trust this man and believe everything he says.

not to resurrect an old video. but. I'm buying a 04 escape 4x4 and it only shifts manually won't engage and drive while in drive you have to use L1-L2 then drive once up to speed. reverse is perfect tho. any ideas?

Thank you for making this video. Clearly, you are a master of engineering. I wish you did a bit more talking so noobs like myself could understand and learn more about what's going on. I just bought a 2001 ford escape at an auction, it has a check engine light (I was told no lights were on :/ ) and from the way that it drives, I feel like there is a transmission problem. I'm no expert but just trying to get some knowledge. Also, the e-brake light comes on and off sometimes when driving. Does this mean that the emergency brake is being activated by the faulty transmission? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mihir Patel sounds like a traction control taking over. most likely a bad wheel speed sensor could cause all the symptom you described have it scanned and get back to me thanks for watching

I can see why fixing a transmission is so expensive. My next vehicle will have a toyota transmission.

First - you don't talk too much, no much of explanation Second - your little shop is a complete mess, you almost never know where your tools are, no fluid collector/catcher used. Third - you always throw things away, you never put them down, just being too lazy to work properly. Fourth - you never stop spitting which is very disgusting to watch. Conclusion - I did not learn anything from this video and the purpose of KZbinrs is to entertain and/or educate their visitors. Neither one or the other happened with your video. No matter what you do, if you decide to put it online, it'll be visible to a ton of people. Strongly consider improving your shop appearance, your behavior and the explanation of your actions. Just a good thought for you...
