Not sure where this video was taken but I’m in nyc and I swear it feels like I bought this exact escape. I have the same code right now and a P0456 a small leak in the evap system. Money is already tight, seeing this is a common issue makes me want to park it till I can trade it in

Eli, P018B Code on my 13 ford escape 1.6L ecoboost, I've tried seafoam multiple cans with multiple tanks of 91 octane, I clear the codes and it keeps coming back.. sometimes not right away, sometimes not every day .. but it comes back eventually.. If ya could make a suggestion what would ya try? Thanks so much! I appreciate any help ya give - Jay from Wisconsin

Have you tried replacing the low side fuel pressure sensor? If you have a capabible scantool, try looking at the low side fuel pressure and high fuel pressure sensor data, to see if the sensors are giving the pcm proper feedback. Worst case scenario, maybe a weak low side fuel pump.

Possible causes: Fuel rail pressure signal circuit shorted to ground. Fuel rail pressure sensor signal circuit shorted to the fuel rail pressure sensor ground circuit. 5-volt supply circuit shorted to ground. Fuel rail pressure sensor. Powertrain control module (PCM). Maybe a glitching fuel pump relay. You need to confirm Voltage checks on the fuel rail pressure sensor. Yellow/pink = 5volt supply Brown/Yellow = FRP signal Brown/white = sensor ground

My 2013 escape stalled today i tried stepped on the gas and not even moving. So I restarted the engine and it was ok. No engine light. Could this be the fuel sensor? Thanks

Best thing is to use a scantool and look for fuel pressure data pids to see if they are reporting normal

@@nhudong9393 Pretty much anything relating to fuel data pids. Also, check your short term and long term fuel trims. If its fuel related, you will get positive fuel trims, above 10%

I put a high pressure fuel pump, high flow sensor and low fuel sensor and my escape won't let me have my turbo back. It shows no codes on my sct tuner, idk what's going on, have any ideas?

How is your fuel trims looking at idle and at 2500rms? Perhaps some type of wastegate issue.

check vacuum pump out put make sure its not leaking and putting oil into the wastegate itself through the vacuum line
