Ford Expedition individual Map/Dome light Light not working & repair

If you have changed your interior lights to led and now the lights come on with door open and with the interior switch but not individually then this is the video for you.

Did u change your lights to led?

I changed mines to led and now it's not coming on at all the fuse was blown so I changed the fuse and it still won't come on. Any tips?

@@Beth-El also figured out once I got to the “on demand” fuse, it was still popping- which then led me to the visor above.. the screws that hold the visor up had pinched that wire and exposed it, hence why it was popping the fuse. Electrical tape that up and voila, it worked!!

@@coreyscott4283 aaaaah gotcha thanks for the heads up on that. I think in my case what happend is when k changed out one of the led bulbs that i did insert the bulb exactly corectly and touched metal to metal some how and caused a ground and blew the fuse. Best thing to do is disconnect the battery but who got time just to do these bulbs so i scowered the internet trying to find a fix and came up with essentially nothing hence the creation of the video. I only do videos of things that pretty much don't exist on youtube at the time.

I have the opposite problem, the lamp turn on manually but not when I open the door

Thank you for the very helpful video, i have a similar issue, but for me, when i press the left button, both lights open togther , when i press the right button, both lights don't work. When i open the doors, both light work and the same from the main controller. What do you think ?
