I know I will hear a lot again about quality , and quite honestly this is just another quick filler video to buy me some time as I learn the ropes of video editing. Just felt I had to give you all something to let you know I am working on it .

Superb! I'm taking notes both on the issue and how you cram so much info into 6 minutes. You had all the bases covered including the tip on the IC PCB. You are a natural and will be setting a very high bar in both diagnostics and presentation. Well done, Keith!

If i missed this, pardon me. The bundle of wires are routed underneath the vent hose which creates extra pressure. I routed mine over the vent hose. For now, its doing good without any additional work to the cluster. Thanks. You saved my day!

I have a E250 (2007) and I have the exact same problem. I am now on cluster #2 and now it is starting to go. Best thing I can tell people if they want the cluster to last as long as possible is when it starts to go batty DON"T tap or knock on the cluster. Doing this will only hasten the demise of the cluster.

Me personally, I'm a mechanic of 20+ years and understand almost all of what I see in these videos, but I simply don't have the exposure to the diagnostic Repairs that I can experience through KZbin and the videos offered by you, Ivan, Eric and Paul Danner. @johnsamuelson3234

Most of the issues with dialysis machines are the hydraulic components. The machines I work on now have 18 solenoid valves 6 pump motors, air separators, pressure sensors and conductivity cells. All of the electronics are on densely populated PCB's with ribbon cables going to an interface board then out to the hydraulic components.

STEVE ROB I could have started from the window switch also , however the cluster was so full of dust and dirt that I could barely even see through the glass . The brushing it off part just kind of led me to stay right there . Then of course I gave it a baby tap to the face and it popped on and off just once. So I focused in . Glad you enjoyed the video !

Reminds me of a similar issue I had with my intrepid. Highly intermittent: no blower, no turn signals (hazards still worked), no power windows, and the SRS light would come on. There were a few other things that didn't work, but I can't think of them. Looking at the wiring diagram told me that one of the circuits from the ignition switch was shared by them. Verified it wasn't a faulty fuse, and ordered a new ignition switch. Pulled the old one apart and this was what I found: imgur.com/4V98xTQ?r Two contacts, which make up the same circuit, had some decent wear.

My 06 F350 had this issue first the back lights kept going out slowly then the entire cluster goes in and out randomly. mine was the actual harness and not the board. the weight of the harness pulling down slowly caused it to fail. it's annoying but a quick easy fix if you have some DIY skills
