That is a beautiful truck. Landed on your video because over the weekend I bought a 2008 F150 Harley edition with, get this... 14,100 miles. Literally, the 92 yr old farmer drove it on Saturday mornings to meetup with his farming buddies for brunch. He bought it new & now says he can't get in/out of her easily any more. I plan to do some small mods/upgrades, so was looking on YT. Thanks for some ideas.

The mods you did on this truck are sick! The headlights, side mirrors, back up cam, alpine head unit, and sub woofer! man I wish i had those for mine. The light bar nice but it looks like it would restrict airflow to the trans cooler mine is super charged (2008). I dont see how people sell theirs I cant let mine go for nothing and I have had crazy offers way above 15k.

I sold that truck back in 2019 I believe I bought the leather cover for the steering wheel of eBay and the rear view mirrors from AM Auto parts

I drive an 04 xlt f150 but I'm looking at getting an 07 harley davidson edition I found in California it has a Saleen supercharger on it too and getting it only has 89k miles all original and 1 owner I'm liking yours alot with the side mirrors the tires and wheels the rear view/back up mirror and my favorite the 8inch touch screen I'm gonna trade in my 04 for the one in cali

To tell you the truth I did not have any mayor issues with my truck since I had it since it had 11k miles on it but with time check the following Most of this truck suffered from a ticking noise coming from the engine bay but in my case the Ford dealership did not install the plugs correctly on the last service so that’s what cause it so installing them correctly and making sure they are seating nice and seal correctly fix that Having prior owners that did the correct service at the correct time helps so I recommend u take it to ford and just ask the service department to Print u out the service history on your truck that will be a good starting point or if the truck came with service paperwork great but after u find out what services been done or it needs start tackling those will prevent any damage and ensure everything is working the way it should I did all this with my truck and it rain like new until the day I sold it, I hope this helps and good luck!

@rick p. I have a 2005 f150 King Ranch with 110miles on it only when i got it the only issue it gave me was timing chains. Upgraded to billet camphaser,timing Chains and billet tensioners. truck haves 215k miles no ticking no rattling. Also always use synthetic oil!

Rick P. I have my 07 Harley have it for a year now. I was having power issues when pressing on the gas while going 40-50mph. No sensor lights nothing. Until finally i got a sensor light indicating multi misfire code. It was the spark plugs all along. I cleaned the throttle body as well with seafoam along with all New Ford spark plugs. This truck is Running like new. I load up my quad on it and i bought a bed extender to load more stuff on the bed and the truck still pulls like when its empty. I Love it! Keep up with the regular tune-ups (oil, air filters etc) and you should be all good. It’s a Keeper. 07’ bought it with only 83K miles now it’s at 96k miles.

The plugs were not siting correctly so some wwre leaking they need it to be removed and reinstalled properly the Ford dealership did this mistake

I just bought the same truck you got in June 2019. All is Great except when i drive between 40-50mph the engine struggles a bit. It kind of chokes up, jumps a bit, but if i push in the gas more it clears. Have you had a similar effect in the past? Mine is 89,000 miles barely. Beautiful truck Man!

I sold this truck late August 2019 now I have a another Ford truck but newer so I don’t have it anymore but it’s was a great truck mine had 118,000 miles and it ran great! On yours I recommend you do a big tune up (spark plugs, air filter, oil filter oil change, check or replace serpentine belt, check all fuses make sure they are good and make sure you check the injections and replace the fuel filter among other checks). Sometimes who you buy it from will tell you they did all these but there’s nothing wrong you checking to see your self if they did do it. I hope this helps

Thanks for the info. Also an other issue with it was the aux input. I still cant figure it out. Mine has the stock radio I know yours had aftermarket

Blanco150 the aux is on top of the dash inside the square box right above the radio it’s looks like a headphones plug in Keep in mine it’s a fairly old system so back then the plugins for your IPod or Iphone where u connected the heaphones are use for that plug in so u got to buy a cable with male plugs on both ends and it will work

Me and my Mechanic Friend ran tests and called other mechanics around with the same symptoms on previous trucks they fixed and came to a pre conclusion that it is the Rear End which is the differential/axle drive train area. So we will open it up maybe this weekend or next to see if there are metal chips inside the differential and rebuild if so.
