Glad I found this video. I thought the alternator was on it's way out on my car, but your car makes the whining sound when accelerating, so maybe that's just how the car is.

I wonder what that wine sound around 3000rpm is my mums Fiesta does it but my old 1.25 Mk6 with A/C didn’t do it as well as my dads pre facelift 1.4.

I have a ford as my first car but i feel like it struggles going up hills and even on a slight incline as it stalls, do you have the same issue or any tips to become a confident driver? Im a proper anxious driver 😂

This car is my first car too and it does struggle going up hills and I have to change down to the lower gears but I have never had it stall before going up a hill. If I went up the road in the video in 4th or 5th, then the car wouldn't have the power and will just slow right down, maybe even stall. Practice is the best way to gain confidence.

Jay Q Yes it’s a good first car. I payed £1800 pound for my first car and it never let me down. The only things that went wrong is the handles to get into the back seats and the front window regulator. Both are a common issue on the fiesta. If you do happen to come across these issues, the handles are an easy fix but the window regulator, well that was a pain to do but me and my dad managed to do it.

Eoin Rossiter They’re are ok cars for a daily driver. My car struggles going up hills (like you see it struggling in this video). I always want more power from the car but everyone says just buy an ST. It’s probably cheaper getting an ST because I bought my fiesta for £1800 and I’ve seen ST’s going for around that. I could swap my car for an ST but don’t want to.

Did you take it on motorway and whats speed can i go upto without issues

I don’t have this car anymore but I think I’ve took it to around 75mph on the motorway for overtaking obviously. I had no problems on the motorway. The only thing is that it’s only got 5 gears and it revs at 3500rpm-4000rpm at 70mph. If that doesn’t bother you then you probably won’t have any issues.

Loving the POV video man! I have the exact same Fiesta, 3 door purple mark 6. Only difference is mine is a high spec Freedom one with different alloys! :D Will you be making more video's like this on your fiesta? :D

Thanks for the feedback man! Yes I can do more videos on the fiesta like this. I'm also thinking of modifying the car with a custom exhaust, wheels, lowing the ride height but not too sure yet as I don't want to ruin the car too much. Any ideas feel free to let me know! Thanks again!

@@JamesWard-lg3tz Awesome I have hit that notification bell and subscribed. Looking forward to seeing what your going to do to your fiesta. In all fairness its a decision really made by you when it comes to modding. For me I keep my car stock, but the interior I tend to like to spruce up and make the fiesta feel like mine. For instance using seat covers and covers for the car, upgrading the car with OEM items which improves the fiesta like the radio. I would say for your fiesta give the AUX port modification a try so you can connect your phone to it etc. Hope this helps! :D If you like I could make a video on my fiesta :)

I always thought Ford petrol engines sounded good, even the smaller engines. I had the 1.25 on a "T" reg Fiesta many many years ago. It pulled well, drove fantastic and sat comfortably on the motorway. I hate these new 1 litre eco boost engines, the way the power is delivered is jerky with flat spots, appears to be a common trait on all three cylinder turbos apart from BMW, which seem to solve this by having the twin scroll turbo. I also dislike the huge tablet screen stuck on the top of the dashboard. Fords were so much better years ago.

Apparently they were designed to have a nice sound Yamaha also developed the Sigma units (1.25,1.4,1.6 & 1.7) think they are much better lasting than the Fox 1.0 Ecoboost engines higher power in a smaller engine means less reliability.

You get around 30-40mpg depending on how aggressive you drive it and can also depend on if its a short or long journey. my car isn't so good on short journeys but is better on longer ones. My first year was £1900 (£191 per month) on insurance. was on Direct Line with no blackbox and I didn't have my parents as secondary on the policy - which makes it cheaper.
