At 8:48 time Wheel hub wear you could have used bearing retainer of higher grade for +0.2mm filling They have different agents for different gaps. . That will hold good enough since you are replacing a new bearing. No need to weld hub. , shinkage pbm , then axle can't be removed or drive shaft can't be inserted into hub etc. or to be fitted before welding or you can't remove in future without hydraulic press etc..
