Videos like this, I really wish KZbin didn't ditch the 5-star rating for thumbs up/thumbs down. Chock full of great ideas! The mold looked mirror perfect. The tricks you showed for the lay-up were ace. And I was just musing over how I'd get around going lighter than stock with my car roof -- that trick to add foam stiffeners, and the tool! I really need it to warm up here so I can do one of my car roofs now! :( Thank you Ilya. Had to watch it twice.

Why do you double up the double sided tape every so often for the vacuum bag? Does that make it harder to get a seal?

those are called pleats. helps to get larger surface are for the bag so there is no stretching

yes you can repair moulds. but usualy using gelcoat mixed with additive
