It's very nippy for what it is, but like most small engine cars it slows down quite a bit at the top end acceleration and you have to ring it's neck to get there. But it's certainly not bad at all.

Yep, same with my CLA45, I also have a H/C/I 612whp c6z06 and for zipping around town the little 2.0T in the cla45 is much MUCH quicker. It’s got basic bolt ons(catless turbo back exhaust,dyno tuned 412awhp) and from a stop light.. not much beats it. 0-60 in 3.1 if it hooks up on the launch. But my z06 has a 60-130 of 3.92 sec if I land the shifts nicely. I run the Z mostly on the highway😂

the shift indicator reacts to what you are doing. when you roll around with 5% gas it tells you shift up very early for the best economic, when you floor it it will tell you to shift close to redline for the best acceleration.

@@MrGeoffrey1998 je pense que tu as des préjugés sur ces moteurs.un ami possède un 1l ecoboost en stage 2 qui tourne aux alentours de 160cv.une fiesta de 2013 qui arrive à 180000 kms sans avoir connu de défauts majeurs.meme la boîte tient le coup malgré une utilisation assez poussée. On est d'accord c'est pas forcément une mécanique qui fait rêver, mais je pense que le compromis est intéressant ne serait ce que pour le poids gagné sur l'avant. Je ne cherche pas du tout à te convaincre et entends ce que tu dis mais je trouve que la critique peut être rapide et ça ne le mérite pas forcément.. Un proche possède une 991.1 GT3 et bien en 30000 kms , 2 blocs. Mais bizarrement la critique ne montre pas souvent le bout de son nez dans ce genre de situation😉. Pour info la St 200 est un 1l5 de 200cv ce qui correspond à environ 270 CV pour un 2l. Personne est choqué quand un 2.0 tsi sort 450 CV 👍

@Christian Clark diesels redline is 4500 for basic diesels, 5000/5500 for bmw or similar high performance ones, my old manual X3 redline was at 5000 but it would be dumber than you are to rev it that high, the perfect range for the best performance was 2600-4100, everything more than 4200 was a waste of time, at the same time i'd shift at 5800rpm on that Fiesta

@@Kyzox2000 It's more about larger frontal area and aero drag. Weight is not decisive for topspeed on flat(ish) road. And 250 kg difference would not harm acceleration in a way that you would need much longer straight to reach your topspeed.

@@royalbinbag1536 i went the first time and they said its the oil sensor where the leak comes from and they changed and that didn't sound quite right to me so i double checked after a few months and it was leaking again so i went to another ford dealership and they found out that it was the head gasket.. so they changed it.. now it remains to chek one more time hahaha
