I purchased diesel fiesta as first owner and covered 1.65 lacs km without any major issues. I maintained it with ford service only. I spent only on battery and tyre. I never faced injector and rust issues. I have been using it to travel between coimbatore to Mahindra WC(near Tambaram) covering 950kms. I start at about 04.00 hrs. attend my work and come back same day at about 23.30hrs. I never faced breakdown. Its drivers car. Its treat driving fiesta.

From my experience I won't suggest Fiesta. I had Fiesta classic and covered 1.4 lakh kms. I maintained the car in showroom condition. Yes, the engine is good. But injector issues will come after 60k kms irrespective of you maintain half tank fuel. I changed all 4 new injector, continental one. Rust issues are the major problem. Also engine noise will be higher compared to other diesel cars. All spares prices are on the higher side. If you are ready to keep spending money the car then you can go for fiesta classic.

You could've opted Bosch injectiors and maintained good-graded diesel.

@@mathewcjames1367 I have done research on it. There is no direct option for it. Bosch injectors cannot be replaced with continental one. They did some changes after 2015 models

No. If you really need it, then geat ready to accept the service charges for timing belt, bearings pulley systems washer fluid pump, thermostat elbow, hoses and pipes of fuel and coolants, ac compressor service and or replacement, cooling coil replacement, turbo service or repair, egr cleaning, valvo doom clean, clutch main cylinder and gearbox clutch cylinder, drive shafts with spares and service charges. I may be covered the most. But it's the fact that every fiesta required this service and replacements after the 1.8Lack kms
