How to remove the Throttle body from this Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost engine. The throttle on this car feels cheap with no clear part number on it ( might be replaced before ) therefore it might be expected to fail over time. Also, the carbon build-up is a common issue on these so cleaning it might solve some trouble codes like P2119 P2107 P2112 .

Pulled the throttle body at 75,000 miles. It was damn near spotless. Video was a big help.

I don't understand how such a small amount of dirt could generate a problem. On my Ford with the same engine, I have a default occurring sometimes (P115E:97-28 and P0106:62-2E). I went to the FORD dealer and they changed the absolute pressure sensor. But ten days later, it was here again and now they don't know what do do... Neither do I... Would such a cleaning solve my troubles? Thanks for your help and this interesting video!

I recently bought my car and the pipe you took off with the green clip where you say "dont lose this bit" is missing from mine, what are those clips called? ive had a look but cant seem to find it, im assuming it wont be air tight without it. thanks!

Is it safe to put on my ecoboost , valve cleaner or fuel cleaner? The info sheets says for all petrol engines use it with a full tank but i am not sure if it causes any issue at all as is the first time i have a turbo engine car with all that sensors on it. Not sure how to read the live data of sensors from obd as i am not sure which is the correct values.

do i have to disconnect the purge valve if I want to use Seaform to clean the carbon buildup inside the injectors?

I wouldn't use Seafoam on this car 🤔 Maybe take the manifold out and clean everything instead
