i got a 2013 focus SE ,im curious to know if there is a way to turn off or set the door chime to turn off after 10 or 20 seconds when in accessory setting ? .... when your cleaning the car and have the driver door open its very annoying ....thxs for any help

Set your emergency brake and then turn the car on and the lights should be off.

How are the interior and dash lights dimmed?. They dim but won't go fully dark. The my sync screen is way too bright for night driving on my 2014 Escape se.

Set your parking brake and then turn the car on and the lights should be off.

I have a 2012 Ford Focus SEL. How do you turn off the headlights while the car is on? Turning the knob to O doesn't turn them completely off, it just dims the headlights. The only way the headlights will turn off completely is when I turn the car off. This is highly annoying. The headlights come on immediately as soon as I turn on the car and it doesn't matter what setting the knob is set to. It can be on O and they still come on whether it's sunny and bright at noon or at midnight it doesn't matter. I can't afford to take my car into Ford and have a diagnostic done. Anyways, I would love to be able to sit in my car while parked and have the head lights completely off while the engine is running. If you or anyone can give a solution to this I would highly appreciate it! Thanks!

@@diannerobinson7858 if you decide to flash your body control module with a laptop computer, again, do so at your own risk!!! You are messing with your car's computer when you are flashing codes, and you can really mess up your car and it could cost you thousands to repair if you don't know what you are doing!!! Just a warning!

I have the same vehicle and I don't like the fact I can't turn on all the interior lights from the driver's seat. Never owned a car that you couldn't do this.

No. Those are your daytime running lights.

dariensheilds You physically cannot. My 2015 Escape Titanium i’ve noticed that even when you shut the headlights off they’re on, so I just leave my headlights on, not on auto, you can just leave them on, and they automatically shut off when you shut your car off, In my opinion, the car looks so much better with the headlights on during the day. I wish all cars you could just leave the headlights in the on position and get out.
