Ford Focus heater hose replacement

same hose split for me. had to remove battery box, air box and ignition cap just to get to it. Luckily mine split right after the clamp so i was able to cut a few inches off and reattach it on the side of the road.

thanks for the video. that previous repair looks real crappie but you might of gotten buy with just replacing the clamp. i'm working on a 2002 zx5 200,000+ miles. replaced a hose last week now i got another one leaking ... :/

That hose was not fixed by a mechanic. No real mechanic would ever do that. It was probably done by the previous owner who may have been in a hurry or their local parts store didn't have the right hose in stock. I've been in situations where it was get to work now or you're fired type of thing and had to improvise using whatever I had laying around to come up with a quick fix. Sometimes you just have to rig something up and hope it holds long enough to get by until whenever. It should have been repaired properly before the previous owner sold the car though.

The coil pack bracket bolts are T-40 size.

If u not gonna atleast to atemp to do it the rite way dont do it at all its a waste of time ull either have to do it again or it'll make things worse when it does mess up
