100 kmh in 2nd gear, damn it has long gears. Im thinking of buying same one would you recommend?

That's right, the gearbox is very long for such a small engine. I recommend 1.6, preferably 2.0 1.4 is too weak

That wheelspin ruins the time, no traction (= lots of time loss at Sek. 3 and also before). But ok.. for the show it's ok to start with wheelspin.

@@cybul915 Don't think so. It's always possible to start without wheelspin. Maybe just at 3000rpm or a bit more (instead almost 4500 rpm), there's already enough NM to get it going really.. . [Even with my 60 PS Ibiza II I start from 2nd gear at only 800rpm ! (no clutch use) in one video, with no compromises in accel. time there. Ok, it's a lighter car and different / shorter gear ratios of course.]

You wouldn't set off Smooth with a 1.4 no traction control or abs it's all or nothing in a demonstration like this. And they will spin and spin and spin once they start

Neither do i think it's a good idea to get near the 6 ~ 7k rpm. It's the end of the tachometer and probably where other manufacturers would have drawn the red line for the engine a.k.a. nearly blowing it up. I don't believe one should measure the performance of a car with squealing tires and having the engine at such crazy rpm's; normally someone would never drive like that, hence the acceleration you achieve by doing such things will never be there when driving normally. People want to know the acceleration by just flooring the pedal while staying within acceptable rpm's.

too weak engine ,better choice is 1.6 or 2.0 is much better,fuel consumption is weak part

i hate those 1.2 and 1.4 engines on all Volkswagen and Fords. They are too weak to pull that load of the car and if there is passengers inside it goes like crapppp. 1.6 or 1.8 are great fast and dynamic.
