Ford Fusion - Cabin Air Filter Change on 2010 to 2012

A clean engine air filter can have an effect on fuel economy but a cabin air filter? I very much doubt that. You'd have to show me the proof. Anyway thumbs up for a job well done. The only thing I would do different is, I would avoid buying one that's made in China.

Thanks! The way I see it is that a dirty cabin filter will restrict AC air flow, and force the driver to use a higher AC setting than otherwise necessary with a clean filter. Your point is good though, as it would likely be marginal. It's interesting that Fram's oil filters are mostly Made in USA, but any (most) air filters (cabin or engine) are Made in China. For this Ford, even the original Ford Motorcraft filter is Made in China. I'll consider it for future changes.
