I have a Fusion Energi and am disappointed that Ford has chosen to discontinue it. They should've worked on improving the battery range even more than the upgrade from 2016 model to more recent versions. Anyway, I am very happy with the car. The real tricks are getting used to one-pedal driving style (don't brake at the last moment, don't do jack rabbit starts) and not being anxious about using up the plug-in portion of the battery power. Instead, think of those as "the first miles are free" and then the hybrid still gives far better MPG than I got with my previous gas-only cars.

I agree. Instead of discontinuing it, they should've improved the range and integrated the battery better. If the trunk space wasn't so comprised from the battery, I would've gotten it instead of my 2017 Ecoboost fusion .

Thinking of buying one 2015 engery how reliable is it never owned a Ford
@johnavgoustis33723 жыл бұрын
@@S.s.s_88 I have owned two, a 2013 and currently a 2019. VERY reliable cars. The only trouble spot is with the rear suspension which is taxed by carrying a very heavy battery. Be careful not to bottom out there. You will need to replace the rear suspension/shocks, etc prematurely, but when you do, make sure to get heavier duty parts that the O.E.M. recommends. Other than that, it's super reliable!

Why am I only getting 33.5 mpg

How long does it need to be plugged in to constitute the 70+mpg she gets ? Wouldn't the cost of electricity also play into the over mpg as it will raise the cost ?

After a month of owning my plug in fusion, my electric bill went up by $14. That's 30 days without visiting a gas station because the car had a full tank of gas when i picked it up from CarMax and after 30 days it still has the same original gas from CarMax. My commute is fairly short. 4 miles to work and 4 miles back home. I charge every 2 days to full charge at home....love this car. Best investment I've ever made!!

All the dumb stickers on the body? I don’t need the carpool lane bad enough to ruin the style of the car with stickers.
