Thanks so much, similar problem on 2010 Ford Galaxy, earth connection in same bundle, think I managed to solder it, will see how long it lasts. Wouldn't have got there without this video though.

Wow thanks for the window programming tip! Couldn't figure out why the front passenger window was basic function only - must have been de-programmed at some point. Great video (s) btw - very useful info for us poor Ford owners!

I’ve just rectified exactly this same error on my S-max by following this video. I had a diagnostic on it after much messing about. Tried a new actuator but no luck, thanks loads for this. 10:54

Perfect video! Thanks. My rear passenger side door has stopped responding window and Central locking. I already checked the fuse so now think this could be the problem! Hope i can fix it now!

Hello Sir, very good an helpful video but I have one question, I have same galaxy same problem but the main power for module shows me 2.53v and you have 12.20v. What do you think I should do?

Hi, it sounds like you may have different connections in the block, try checking for 12v on pins 1, 2, 12 and 13 just in case they are in different positions. If you are not getting a 12v supply at 5he door on one of these pins then I’m guessing you’ve found your problem and will need to find the 12v on the car side of the plug. I hope that’s understandable! Good luck.

Hi , great video thanks for taking time to make. Both of my nearside door locks have stopped working via the central locking system. When you talk about the "ground earth at the back of the car" could you let me know where that is located so i can do continuity test (check for broken wire). Many Thanks Carl - Bristol

Earth can be any bare metal part of the body or bolt / screw passing through bodywork but it is shown at time 8:15 in the other video which is part 1

Great video. I had to put a second hand passengers door on my galaxy. Then found the whole central locking and window didn't work. Thanks to your video I looked at this socket and noticed that the main live and earth on my new door didn't match the connector on my car. I was lucky and could pull the two cables out of the block and fit them in the right slots. Hey presto. All working. Again. Thanks to your detailed video. Ps. Any idea how you get the black plastic trim next to the glass off the outside of the door without breaking it 🤔

Sorry I haven’t answered, I haven’t been receiving KZbin notifications! You have to pull the front of the triangle away from the metal and then slide it back towards the glass where it is held by one or two gripping clips. You’ve probably already worked it out by now though.

@@abdurrahmanberisha7421 i would think that a left hand drive would be the same but the colours of the wires maybe slightly different. Either way use the first video and multimeter to test for resistance from the door plug to the ground (earth) at the back of the car and as a car battery is 12v set the multimeter to the next highest dc setting to test for the live feed. Mine was 20v on the multimeter. Hope that helps
