I think it was very popular and sold out, DeAgostini rotates its kits, so I’m hoping they bring back the X-wing, I really want to build it.

Sorry you didn't get one Randy. But there are some amazing kits out there for the same money. If I'd have seen the 63 Vette first,I would have gotten it instead..

I simply don’t understand this discontinuing these kits. Once the molds are done they should just keep issuing them. Agora does this and it’s appreciated. I know there is a bunch of kits; I’m building the corvette and Batmobile but have to pay full price for them.

@@randybodenner626 I think logistics is one reason. They do a production run based on subscriptions...no telling how many extra examples they do. There was a while back when guys well into their builds were waiting months for packages.. I think they are trying to make sure all subscriptions are fulfilled. When the production run equals subscriptions...they cut it off. This is a great beginner kit, but kind of kludgy parts wise..as I said earlier,there are some amazing kits out there for the same money My monthly just got increased to 172.00 for a one year subscription.

Nice vid , Steve. I got a long way to go.(Waiting for pack 6) Do the door hinges get more precise after installing upper body?

There’s no adjustment to the door hinges after you install them, they are loose fitting but should still lock closed and open up freely.

@@ScaleModelKitReview yeesh...lol I'm on the one year plan so by February I should be done. I figured the aux lights had an led in them but didn't know for sure until your videos. Is there a separate switch for them?

No separate switch for the headlights and auxlights.
