FORD GT40 RECREATION BY TORNADO SPORTS CARS!
In this video we take a look at the reacreation of the iconic ford GT40 Mk1 by Tornado Sports cars.
Tornado Sports Cars were formed in 1984 and production of our GT40 replica, the TSC GT40, began in 1989.
We have continually produced GT40 replicas since that time making Tornado by far the longest etablished GT40 replica manufacturer in History. 2020 marks our 31st year of continual GT40 replica production.
To date they have produced hundreds of TSC GT40 replicas and exported them to over 31 countries.

@Dave NC that's amazing that you have a superperformance GT 40 MK1 I am jealous. Are you running a cayote V8 with a Recardo gear box? 😎

@@zainventuri7881 I have a 363 stroker motor with eight stack injection and Holley Terminator X EFI. My gearbox is a ZF 5 speed.

I'm very interested in this kit and I heard it's very affordable. Whats a good guestimate to building a car to this quality???

The Quality is top notch, can't fault it tbh. Tornado is well established and the owner of the company is a lovely guy. They have very good support and have found unique ways of keeping the costs down of their kits. If I was looking to build a Gt40 they would be on the top of my list. As for build time it all depends on how much experience you have. The fact that there are so many completed cars tells you it's a good kit. They sell every nut and bolt to build your car. The only difficult area is door alignment, everything else is very straightforward.

I will be hopefully be working on that. I spoke with the owner at the stoneLeigh kit car show last year. So I will hopefully make it happen very soon. It's just lovely to see how these cars are made from scratch 🤩
