I own a Ford lightning. It is the absolute best F150 that I've ever owned. It does everything that my previous F150s would do at a fraction of the costs. Granted, it's not suited for long-distance traveling. But it is great for people like me who only exceed 60-mile round trips about once a month and so I'm still able to just charge at home. My case is even better than the normal charge only at home EV owner because I charge my truck from my home solar system. And then using just the 7200 watt 240 volt receptical in the bed of my truck power my home if I get several really cloudy days. Average daily usage is able 23 kwh, and i try to keep my trucks soc at 90%, so I have over 100 kwh of power available to me. About 4 days with no sun at all, which has never happened. With over 13 kw of solar power, I can still completely charge my home system even on densely cloudy days.
