Ford Ka Mk2 rear bumper removal / replace . ( Fiat 500 will be very similar )

Quick guide to removing / replacing a Ford Ka Mk2 rear bumper.
The Fiat 500 bumper will be very similar as the Ka /500 share the same basic chassis.
Only attempt this if you are technically competent/confident.
Not too difficult though with the right tools, someone to help when removing /refitting the bumper would also be useful.
ALWAYS work safely, and securely chock/support your car with axle stands. Never rely on just a jack.

Just about to remove my Ka bumper to try to solve a water leak into the boot. Does the Ka have the breather vents as found on the Focus (notorious for leaking) or is there anything else behind the bumper that may induce a leak, the rear seat footwell is wet too but I think the boot leak is the problem. Any answers/comments most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hallo , could you tell me what size is the Torx screwdrivers which you are using ?

Sorry not sure, maybe t20. But you are better off getting a set as you will no doubt find a use for the different sizes as nearly every car has torx head fasteners.

Bit late so you probably already know, but for others I just refitted a couple & they were T30 Torx bits - mine is 2015 Ka so unsure if they changed throughout the years.

Might not be necessary but really improves access to the wheel liner screws you remove. You could try without removing the wheel if you like
