Just a update repaired my broken heater vent thumb wheel n updated the radio for a Ford Sony unit all in all the job was a breeze thanks to your tutorial video thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍☺☺😉

Hey! I did this with my mk3 too and changed the led colors on the digital climate control panel, but to my frustration the blue light for the cold-button does not light up, the polarities are correspondant to the board symbols, and the leds are working, it did light up when the polarity was reversed, is this something you did on yours? switching the polarity on the blue light for it to light up?

With the blue cold button dont use a blue smd as its blue plastic so i used a white one.

I want to remove it and reinstate the climate / heating unit the one which you are putting leds into. Have i goto go thru all that ( which has been shown here ) just to reinstate it and replace the audio system.?

I want to get access to the heater exchanger, my car has the hot water hoses from the engine unplugged so, I don't know if they're unplugged because of a leaking inside the car and I want to avoid that, so before I reconnect all the stuff I want to make sure there is no leaking nor other surprises.Do you know If can I get access to it without taking all the dash? Can I get to it taking just the console out as you did?

Hi chazz do you know if the st has a resistor pack for the climate control as mine only works for short periods I've tested the fan the control panel in my ghia x and works fine but not in my st I've changed fuse but still not working any help would be great cheers

Ahh now i see. My Airvent Regulators turned over and stuck open in a weird position. Half of the Wheel is visible the rest is inside the Slot. I tried only to remove the Airvents and after a while i stop tearing and now i see it is one big Piece.. Hmm.. Damnit.. So i have to go the Full Mile. Anyway my DAB Antenna is not working so have to take out my Radio and check the Connection.

Ford was morons when designing the mk3, why could they not have done the aircon panel just like the clock? Would have been so much easier to do this kind of work to it. The glass are faded on my car, but after watching your video i'll leave it as is
