Ford Mondeo MK3, replace the bad original xenon hid projector!

Has the video changed? In one video you have to cut the original screw posts off. And in this one you do not and use a plate and screw into the screw posts. Just brought the kit and was wondering which one I will have to do. Thank you

Thanks for the order and good question. We also have a video with a different projector, but that is much harder to install, this is the correct one. But we also upgraded the projector from the Mini H1 to the TR mini, so the projector you have received is a bit different, but the basics of the mounting etc. is the same. comes client, installed the D2s xenon, you have to change only the projector . if you set H1, then you need a new lamp and ballast. it is more expensive to change than just the projector .

Die Schrauben mit den roten Gummis dienen dazu, um den Xenonprojektor zum Reflektor vom Fernlicht auszurichten. Wenn man die einfach nur anzieht, stimmt die Einstellung vom Scheinwerfer überhaupt nicht mehr. man kann den Scheinwerfer zwar dann außen an den normalen Einstellschrauben wieder einstellen, das originale Fernlicht leuchtet dann aber überall hin, nur nicht auf die Straße. Will man es richtig machen, muss man das originale Fernlicht mittels Scheinwerfer Einstellgerät richtig ausrichten, und dann das Abblendlicht von hinten durch den Deckel mittels den Schrauben mit den roten Gummis passend auf die Linie im Einstellgerät mit dem Hell/Dunkel Verlauf und 15Grad Knick einstellen. Ist etwas fummelig, aber nur so stimmt es nachher wirklich. Ich werde bei meinem Umbau jetzt versuchen, das Maß an den Schrauben abzunehmen und genau so wieder einzustellen. Wird nicht 100% stimmen, aber deutlich besser als nur anzuziehen.

I am not sure what you mean exactly. Do you mean the projectors?

@@Retrofitlab so my headlamp back cover (black one) and the big chromed reflector got cracked in a small accident, but bulbs, lamp, basically every else is in perfect shape. i want to buy a halogen only headlamp and move the xenon parts inside it. would they fit?

@@denisgabriel5 I dont think the Xenon parts will fit in to a halogen headlight without heavy modification unfrotunately
