Love these calipers that have the bung type where the Allen key goes 🙌

Everyone who will be doing this take the opportunity to clean the hub, brake calipers, sliders, with a wire brush, apply brake grease to prevent rust from forming which can even warp the disc, or at least make it difficult to remove next time, sliders are prone to sticking, clean them well and lubricate them with brake grease that is resistant to high temperatures.

Great video mate, thanks for posting tutorials on the MK4 Mondeo. At 16:55, when you're tightening the caliper bolts, Ford spec says 200 Nm (148 ft.-lb.) but my torque wrench is too large to fit in there. Do you reckon it'll work to tighten them by hand instead?

Please please please before you jump in the car and drive off after changing the pads pump the brake pedal a few times to get the pads back into their operating position. You've pushed the pistons all the way back into the calipers to get free space to fit the new pads, you have to remove that space before the brakes work.

I made that very mistake a few years ago when I 1st started working on my old MK2 Focus. Ended up in the middle of the bloody main road, thankfully the road was quiet! 🤦
