Ford Mondeo MK4 LED Headlights

I've been eyeing these headlights for quite some time now and now I finally got the courage to buy them. These are headlights with built in LED indicators and parking lights. The parking lights are almost bright enough that you can use them as DRL.

That yellow discoloration you mentioned about is the actual factory coating which is exfoliating from the headlight plastic. Of course with the polishing you remove that coating, making the headlight more clear, but if you don't apply a protecting foil after the polishing, that discoloration starts appearing again.

Indeed these new headlights looks very nice, very fresh. I observed though at the beginning of the video, that the indicator light bulb is not synchronized with the LED strip. The blinking does not happen same time for both. Or maybe is the framerate of the camera. And that noise making, when you turn on the lights, I assume is the auto-leveling system?! Some kind of motor inside. So the main beam is done by an LED, not by bulbs anymore? Then in case some of the LEDs fail, then you have to replace the entire headlight unit?

the new projector format headlights make it more attractive to me, but it does look like your still have halogen bulbs in the dipped beam and the indicators are still halogens too. What's the point in replacing the old ones if you still get the same light at night? To me that is 90% of the reason I would make those changes. So, my verdict is that I don't like what you have done, sorry.

I too have had condensation problems along with a failing clear coat on them. I wet&dry sanded them, polished then applied a Duplicolour clear coat. Finally I applied PPF and they're still staying clear! I actually bought these years ago but I had a defective pair which had HORRIBLE light output (most light was skattered aiming in the sky, not on the road) which I returned and got a full refund Where did you buy these from? Can you supply a link?
