Just did an oil and filter change after a garage wanted to charge 180 quid I did it myself for 90 and that's buying all the tools to do the job but I needed the warning turned off and my garages wouldn't do it as they didn't service the car, so came to you and you probably saved me paying for a go on the diagnostics, thanks very much worked first time and so easy

More tips on a ford mondeo would be great. I've got a 13 reg 1.6 diesel :)

Change the oil every 5K is the best advice anyone can give you on the 1.6 Peugeot engine.

darkwaterblue thanks👍 What about the filters? Assume oil filter same time as engine oil change. Cabin and engine filter, maybe yearly and fuel filter 2 years?

The DV6 engine is a good engine but it does not tollerate poor oil, do the oil filter at the same time. make sure you use low SAPS oil for the DPF. Fuel filter every 20K or should be fine. Cabin whenever you feel like it, its behind the glovebox in the Mondeo Mk4, you might find it is still original.
