Mmmm great engine but not bullet proof those engines tend to spun bearings if You keep.them very long over high rpms i know that because i have an svt contour ( Mondeo ST 200) and.it did that Even with oil

the engine is original. it's a 2l V6 engine with 290hp. 6 gears sequentiel.

Don`t scrap it. Rebuild it. Mine is 96 MK2 and I will try to restore it as original.

Ja orginal BTCC. Der Motor wurde aus nem 2.5V6 Mazda Block gebaut. Wie die den Hubraum auf dann auf 2l gebarcht haben ist mir ein Rätsel. :( Weisst du darüber was? Bzw. wer hat den Motor für die Rennen entwickelt? Scheinst ja gut informiert zu sein. :)

No this is a 2 litre naturally aspirated Mazda KL V6 engine, with around 280-300 hp, and it revs to 8500 rpm. All cars were limited to 2 litres in Super Touring.
